Compare a place, a time and a travel budget

  • Where can people start to arrive at this location by 10:00?
  • How does the reachable area change with a 30-minute or 60-minute journey?
  • What changes when a journey must use direct services only?

A timetable-based calculation

The budget covers the whole journey: walking, waiting and transfers. A 60-minute budget with a 15-minute interval separates the result into four bands. One contour shows a single area up to your budget.

Under More options, adjust the walking limit and speed. The defaults are 2,000 m and 4.8 km/h. Available journeys depend on the timetable for the selected date and time.

Model a site with several access points

Area mode works with a polygon up to 1,000 x 1,000 m. Travel starts or ends along its boundary. Draw the relevant access areas around a campus or shopping destination.

The shopping mall demos provide prepared outlines. Open an example below, then adjust the arrival time, budget or transfers to explore a different scenario.
