See the reach
of your locations.

Choose a brand and an area in the United States to explore where people can reach its locations by public transport or on foot. Compare network coverage, then select a customer point to inspect journey options.

From branches on a map to journeys to your stores

  • Where can people reach at least one of these locations within the travel budget?
  • How does coverage change between morning, lunch and evening?
  • Which location offers the quickest assessed journey from a chosen point?

Start with the network

The visible map area selects the locations to analyse. Their travel-time coverage can extend beyond that area. Move or zoom the map and use Search this area to select a different set of branches.

Travel bands use 10-minute intervals and include walking, waiting and transfers. Change the budget or arrival-time preset to compare access under another scenario.

Then inspect one customer's options

Choose Find routes from a point and select a place on the map. Compare the assessed journeys to the selected locations and inspect a route or destination.

The map initially shows the three quickest options and your selected route. Show routes to all locations displays every assessed journey. Back to network coverage returns to the catchment view.

Compare access to a brand

  2. Select the locationsUse Search this area. Match exact chain is available to exclude similarly named businesses.
  3. Set the arrival scenarioChoose Morning, Lunch, Evening or Now and adjust the travel-time budget. Refresh coverage to run the calculation again.
  4. Explore individual journeysUse Find routes from a point to compare how a customer can reach the locations.

Places from OpenStreetMap

Brand locations come from OpenStreetMap. The selection depends on the places and brand names mapped in your chosen area. Check the returned locations when comparing a chain's network.

Access measured as travel time

The coloured areas describe access to the analysed locations under the selected journey settings. Use them to compare reach and journey options. Customer numbers, sales and footfall are separate inputs for a commercial assessment.
